Research Triangle Park NC encompasses three cities in eastern North Carolina. These are Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The RTP area has a diverse selection of outdoor activities from which to choose from. These include hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and just about any other outdoor activity you can think of. The triangle has a multitude of parks that the active person can choose from. In addition, a quick 90 minutes to the east is the atlantic ocean and ~ 2 hours to the west is are the western NC mountains. This site will focus on outdoor activities in the RTP area with the occasional activity outside the area.
