Lake Crabtree County Park is located near the Raleigh/Durham International Airport. Lake Crabtree park offers hiking, biking, and boating. The hiking trails circle Lake Crabtree so you can explore the entire lake if you wish. The biking trails are available when recent weather has not made the trails muddy. Lake Crabree has park areas for picnicking, playing with the kids, or fishing near the tower area. In addition there are open fields near the lake where group play such as soccer can happen. These areas are also available as long as it hasn't rained a lot recently. Lake Crabtree County Park also has an entrance that leads to a southern park of William B. Umstead state park.
